Sydney McCray made the varsity softball team as a freshman at Lakewood Ranch HS. The team went on to became #1 but lost the state championship in the final game. As a sophomore starting center field this year, she is a natural right hander but has become a great slap hitter with a batting average over 500.
Sydney is very fast and powerful and she has scholarship offers from the best universities already.
